Steve Terry is the publisher and editor at Wild Life Press specialising in limited edition books, printed matter and audio releases made in close collaboration with the artist or subject.
As a collector he has built the renown Wild Life Archive, a collection of ephemera and related artefacts documenting dance music culture from its early origins through to todays global scene. A collection 25 years in the making with over 3,500 items dating back to the early 1970’s including New York/LA/San Fran disco, Chicago house, Detroit techno, Ibiza balearic and London Acid House to name a few. This unique archive is the finest collection of its kind in private hands and has been exhibited at world class museums and galleries including the Institute of Contemporary Art in London, Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles and MOMA PS1 in New York. The collection has also been featured in various publications and accessed for research purposes.
Alongside the Wild Life Archive, Steve has built further counter culture collections and placed them within some of the most prestigious academic institutions in the world.
